Surrealismus

Kurt Schmid, Maler und Autor der nachfolgenden Bilder und Bücher. Es war nie meine Absicht, Schönheit und Harmonie zu beschreiben oder zu malen. Meine Bücher wie meine Bilder sollen zum Nachdenken und kritischer Betrachtung anregen. Meine Bilder erzeugen ganz unterschiedliche Wahrheiten, die Einen sehen sich bestätigt, die Anderen empfinden Ablehnung oder gar Wut über das, was die Bilder vermitteln. Was nie Oberhand gewinnen darf, ist Einschränkung oder gar Zensur der Freiheit einer offenen Gesellschaft. Ich gebe zu, besonders beim Thema Religion werden sich die Geister scheiden, genau dies ist auch meine Absicht: das Geglaubte zu hinterfragen und vielleicht in einem anderen Licht zu betrachten. Wenn dies das eine oder andere Mal gelingt, ist mein Ziel erreicht.
